I cannot imagine any of the "brand name" funeral homes that would provide the incredible personal services that Corba provides so willingly and so professionally. We have had the opportunity to deal with this operation on 3 different occasions, and while dealing with the death of a loved one is difficult, the ladies---yes, I said ladies!--- and gentlemen at Corba made the process much easier.
Our most recent dealings were with the death of an elderly uncle living in PA, and we live in Maryland. The majority of preparations were completed by the time we arrived in PA and those that were not, were completed upon our arrival.

The Vladimir Corba Funeral Home s the best example of why funeral homes should remain privately owned and operated, and not part of a nationwide conglomerate of funeral homes. This operation has been family owned and operated since 1946 and is currently owned and operated by the founders daughter.
The kindness and caring are honest and real.
While we do not expect future dealings with Corba, as they have attended us in the burial of the final Pennsylvania family member, I truly hope that they continue to provide their services to the community for a long time to come.
My mother told me once that there are times when only 2 words can be said to convey your deepest feelings. Those words are "Thank-you". And we say thank-you from the bottom of our hearts for making a difficult situation so much easier to handle.
If you are looking for services that are ultra chic, which I define as sterile and cold, this is not the place to go. But if you want down to earth and heartfelt kindness and support in the worst of circumstances, this is where you will find it.
